Delete through the web account

The authenticated web flow is the fastest and safest option:

1. Open the BalassLabs account page and sign in with your Weather Terminal account.
2. Open Account data and privacy, then choose Delete account.
3. Enter your username and current password, review the warning, and confirm deletion.

If you cannot sign in

Email the address below from the email address registered to the account and ask for Weather Terminal account deletion. We may request proportionate verification before acting so another person cannot erase your account.

Never send your password, access token, refresh token or recovery link by email.

Data deleted by the request

• sign-in credentials, active sessions, profile/email data, consent rows and account-action links are removed or anonymized when the authenticated request is accepted;
• pending account-security email content is scrubbed;
• account-linked download/access-token/share records and the owned avatar are erased by the retryable cross-service workflow.

Identity deletion is immediate when the request is accepted. Linked API records and the avatar normally converge within 24 hours; an infrastructure outage can delay completion, and the workflow keeps retrying instead of abandoning the request.

Limited data retained temporarily

• non-identifying security-audit events may remain for up to 180 days;
• a content-free erasure idempotency/SLA tombstone may remain for up to 90 days;
• a pseudonymous anti-recreation fence containing only a SHA-256 internal-account digest and timestamps is scheduled for deletion after seven days;
• offline backups are not rewritten synchronously; completed erasures must be reapplied before a restored backup returns to normal service;
• preferences and privacy-bounded diagnostics stored only on your device remain until their local expiry or until you clear the app's storage.
